Aside from courses and seminars, HarzOptics also exclusively offers the optical teaching software OPTOSOFT for home-based studies. The software includes a lot of lectures about topics like fiber optics, optical components and telecommunications, diodes, couplers, transmitters, receivers and various multiplexing methods. A new version of OPTOSOFT is currently being co-developed with the Fraunhofer IMM Institute in Wernigerode.
